Hello Members!!! You asked for it and I responded!!! Our new shirts with our WBMC logo has arrived. I'm sure our members will like what they see. I have something for everyone. The colors to choose from are royal blue-white or black in short or long sleeve. I have sizes in medium to XXXLarge. The price is set at....short sleve@ $15.00 per shirt....Long Sleve@$20.00 per shirt and the Xtra large in white or blue@$22.00 per shirt. In Xtra large I could only get in white or royal blue. Let me know what size and color you desire and I will bring them in for you. The shirts have a nice logo on the left side of the shirt and on the back side a larger wbmc logo on the back. On another subject...........yes...our new back patches are on order and should be here within 2 to 3 weeks. If you already have one of our old patches you will get a new one at no cost to you and paid for by clubs general funds. If a member decides to purchase a backpatch....The cost will be $15.00 of which will go into our clubs general funds. As far as our clubs general funds......Yes.....We are in great shape! I watch every pennie without sacrificing quality or purchasing what I believe would be a waste of money and no benifit to our clubs interest. Remember......I'm here to work for you. I promised that I would do the best that I could do and perform the duties of Treasurer and that is what I have done. Although I'm not perfect.......I strive to do my best for you......the members of this club. Ride safe and enjoy the open roads..........Milo Kendall-WBMC-Treasurer

This clip is from Orange County Chopper TV show. It shows the first motorcycle;they let senior drive it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXG-1OoXozw or search 'Wooden Bike'
In November 1885, Daimler installed a smaller version of this engine in a wooden bicycle, creating the first motorcycle (Patent 36-423impff & Sohn "Vehicle with gas or petroleum drive machine"). It was named the "riding car" (Reitwagen). Maybach (one of the inventors) rode it for three kilometers (two miles) alongside the river Neckar, from Cannstatt to Untertürkheim, reaching 12 kilometres per hour (7 mph).

We're just returned from Ron and Lola Huhn's new retirement home in Rock Creek. Ron rode with the club a LOOONG time ago on a beamer. They've sold their house in Highland Park and moved to 6 acres just south of Pine City. There neighbors are few and far between and that's good cuz the fireworks were loud. I hope everyone has a safe 4th. Later, Love, Lisa

In case you want another option, we just found a shop that seems reasonable, too. T-SHIRT SHOP at 2710 Lyndale. It's family-owned & run. Phone is 612-874-0101, web address is AMERICANLETTERING.COM.

I'm currently in the process of working with a screen printer for T-shirts and Jerseys for our members. I will have some samples and cost per unit sometime next week. The way it will work is I will let you choose your color, (white,Black, or Blue)...The size and cost per shirt. I will take your money in advance along with a receipt...........and when the order is completed I will pick them up and deliver your shirt with our logo on it. Thanks and have a safe riding season.......Milo Kendall-WBMC-Treasurer

Loretta and I were saddend by the passing of our club member Davey Markuson. I will miss seeing Davey around and riding with Dave. It's funny you don't realize the value and friendship that you build untill they are gone. Somtimes I laugh and think back the different jokes and stories Davey would say. The most one I cheerish is the time Davey was going to the west coast with his wife and needed gas and pulled into a gas station. His wife went to the restroom and Davey filled his tank and jumped on his BMW and took off not realizing he left his wife back some 50 miles back and turned around to go get her...........So funny....We will miss you Dave and may you have God's speed and the wind at your back. Your friends,,,,,,,,,,,,Milo and Loretta

http://www.hedonistic-enthusiasm.com/ FYI - Pat Hahn is a respected motorcycle safety author, he has developed the Dakota County Hedonistic Enthusiasm Cornering and Safety Seminar. It is held at Dakota County Tech College in Rosemount MN. I think this is aimed at sportbikes but WBMC has those.
$50 for 1st-timers gets you lunch, a t-shirt, and five 20-minute sessions on a closed course revolving around the concepts of "The Pace. Different instruction is available depending on skill level, but the point that the course is not a racetrack is heavily stressed. < http://www.hedonistic-enthusiasm.com/ >
